ATSS WELCOME
Dear Parents:
ATSS is a public school of choice within the Abbotsford Public School District No. 34. Our students come from Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack and Langley. ATSS also enrolls International students and a number of students who were previously homeschooled. ATSS opened September 2004 in a building on the East side of Abbotsford. September 2006 ATSS moved to a large, comprehensive campus which is also the home of Abbotsford Traditional Middle School. This permanent location has room for growth and features a number of new facilities including a large, modern gymnasium.
Academic studies along with Fine and Performing Arts classes, Applied Skills classes and a well-supported Athletics program provide a quality, balanced education for our students. In addition, every student uses a notebook computer as part of his or her educational program to increase learning. The ATSS one-to-one notebook computer program is quickly becoming a success story highlighted across Canada. ATSS has a dress code with "dress for success" coordinates and many classes are structured in a more traditional style. Approximately 400 students from grades 9-12 attend ATSS and benefit from the small school atmosphere and supportive environment.
